Hi, Friends! I like to say my poetry blends southern gothic imagery with contemporary lived experience. Above all, my poetry seeks to carve out space for homonormativity within traditionally heteronormative environments. The work treats everyday moments as sacred, moving between lyricism and narrative, vulgarity and vulnerability, and the tension between shame and pride. Feel free to look around.
You can find workshops and classes I'm teaching at Red River Review, where I am the associate editor.
